This is Cappuccina, my character in Monster Hunter. The background is from Monster Hunter Rise, but because they didn’t bring all the face paints from the last game I’ve drawn her how she appears in Monster Hunter World. I’m this actually turned out well, because it seems like a lot of stuff recently just ends up a bit worse than I thought it’d be. This one turned out to be better.

I’ve been playing a whole lot of Rise recently. It’s super fun. I started seriously playing Monster Hunter with World, but I was so late to the train that I was just grinding through all the hunts to get to Icebourne and the end game content. Which was really great at first, but at some point the game’s difficulty outpaced the grinding I was doing and it was like I was getting carted every fight. So being able to pace myself more in Rise is a nice change.
