Good things seem to happen when I get really loose with an initial sketch and no worry about how it looks. To be honest, I drew different parts of the body first before connecting them together with limbs and joints. It just made it easier to get the pose out. I might try doing that more often because it definitely helped get the pose I had in my head onto the canvas. And the facial expression works perfectly!

This character is one that I drew once back in 2015, called “Peilin the Party Girl”.

I know she looks completely different. I don’t care. It’s not like she has any existing canon like the other OCs that I draw. Still, I do wanna draw her again now that this one has turned out so well. Heck, maybe she’ll show up in The Girls of Tao Rin series.
