I… I am exhausted. I am worn out. This drawing of Kyoto took me 10 hours across 2 days to complete. The last time I spent 8+ hours on a single piece, I absolutely hated it. But I’m glad to say that’s not the case this time. And I uh, just noticed an mistake while I’m writing this. I’m to choose to ignore it, and cry about it later.

This is the final piece in the month long drawing prompt “Japanese January” so I felt like I had to go out with a bang. Take a good, long look at this, because I will never make something like this ever again in my life. I hate drawing architecture and I hate the tedious detail that went into it. I’m going to erase this whole experience from my mind so that I can just look at this picture for what it is and not the pain I went through making it.
