We are going to start some beef with the creator of Naruto, but first let me talk about the drawing. This is yet another one from Japanese January. The prompt was, you guessed it, Naruto. Originally I planned to draw someone cool like Zabuza or Madara because who doesn’t like those character? BUT, I don’t know what gave me the idea but I suddenly wanted to draw Hinata and Naruto. I’m telling you Hinata is my favourite anime character ever and this is my favourite anime couple of all time. This drawing is a treasure to me. That being SAID, let’s move onto the beef.

This is not Shippudden Naruto and Hinata posing as a couple, this is a post-marriage drawing. Now you might be confused: why is Naruto’s hair longer than it was at the end of Shippudden? That’s because I fundamentally disagree with him having shorter hair. The dude looks goofy. He should not have cut his hair shorter, I’m sorry. And do not give me this nonsense about it showing that he’s older/ more mature. The hardest and coolest dudes in this show grew their hair out as they got older. Kakashi, Jiraiya, Tobirama, Hashirama, Madara, Itachi, Sasuke, even his own dad had longer hair than him. But when the main cast grows up the creator decided to do characters like Naruto and Choji dirty with wack haircuts. And DON’T even get me started on what they did to Gaara. All I’m saying is, I’ve draw Naruto the way he’s meant to be.
