I’m sure by now you’ve heard about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the game including a roster of 60+ characters from every Smash game ever. I was very excited to hear about it.

Throughout the 24 minutes video I watched about all the new stuff, one thing really piqued my interest: Zelda’s new costume.

Well, I guess it isn’t quite new since its basically her outfit from A Link Between Worlds, but I liked the way it looked a lot! Since I recently had some time to actually sit down for a few hours and churn through a piece, I thought this might be a nice and relevant subject to draw.

Overall, I’m really pleased with it. Between the phases of colouring and finishing, I really didn’t think it would turn out well, but taking the extra time to colour all of the lineart and using six different game screenshots and renders to accurately portray the outfit paid off!

Hopefully I don’t wake up tomorrow and find like five glaring mistakes.
