The Captain Marvel movie comes out next year and this time, for once in my life, I decided to be ahead of the curve with my fan art.

Honestly this is just part of a larger scheme to hopefully sell (and wear) Captain Marvel shirts for the movie release. Better than buying it somewhere else overpriced in my opinion. This scheme also allows me to ride the coattails of the movie hype to get click on Instagram and hopefully direct people to my site.

Anyway, with this design I decided to make a casual Captain Marvel, partially to avoid a copyright strike over at Zazzle (by calling her Captain Maverick) and partially because I dig the look. I also opted for the short haired version of Carol Danvers because I think she looks better that way. Her hair actually kinda resembles Penny’s from Lucky Penny. Oh well.
