Selia Day

As you can see, I utilised my Body-chan for this drawing. I actually just got it within the past couple of days and this is only my second time using it for drawing. The first one was rough, but I admit that I didn’t put much effort into making it look nice.

I decided to redraw Selia Day, whom you might have seen on my commissions page before I updated it, or more likely on my Instagram page. I am finally man enough to admit that her eyes were wildly different sizes and that the whole drawing wasn’t very well shaded. But I make up for those mistakes now, and test out my Body-chan in the process.

I highly recommend getting one of these because you no longer have to think so hard about posing characters in your mind, spend energy using yourself as a reference, or waste time googling a pose. And it comes with the added benefit of being able to use the same pose from different angles that prove more difficult to produce on your own.

Now, you may look up Body-chan and say “Pepper! This is $80! Do you really expect me to spend that kind of money on this?” Not really. I got it for $40 because it was on sale during Christmas. So I recommend finding one on eBay or waiting for another holiday sale? Whatever the case, if you’re an avid artist, you already know the struggle of spending too much money on your passion! So the choice is yours!
