I spent 9 hours drawing this. 9 HOURS. From the point where I started collecting reference pictures to when I saved the final png, 9 whole hours. It was grueling. I really bit off more than I thought I could chew with this one, my God. I don’t even know why I did it! I originally planned for it to be two characters. JUST TWO. One on the ground and the other is Blizzard (Thanos) standing over them. But in my drunken stupor (note: I wasn’t actually drunk but I had about the same amount of rational thinking as a drunk person) I decided that I would use a reference picture including SEVEN characters! Thank God I wasn’t so bereft of common sense that I decided to do all seven! Anyway, that’s where it started, things quickly went downhill when I came to realise that Firya (the robotic girl on the right) had an insane amount of detail. It may not look like much, but I’m pretty sure it took me two hours to do the lineart alone.

Anyway, this was just an entry for a contest that I completely forgot the prize of, making a joke from Alpharad’s Not Overwatch video featuring Heroes of Warfare and their lawsuit from Blizzard. I hope somebody gets the joke, especially Alpharad since he made the video, but at the very least I made some artwork that I will never attempt ever again in my life.

And I’m JUST NOW seeing a glaring problem with it, but I don’t care! I’m officially done! Was this joke worth it? Was it really worth it? We’ll see.
