The other day I strangely found myself watching Nintendo’s live presentation of their new Switch console on YouTube. I wasn’t too interested in the new console but my great curiosity about the possibility of a Super Smash Bros 5 game being announced kept me watching til quite literally the end. And this is where Zelda comes in. After everything, we were sent off with an extended trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Despite realising it wasn’t a Smash 5 trailer, I watched it anyway. And it looked AMAZING! Not only the graphics, but the character designs for Link and Zelda were nothing but top notch!

And so I said (over a week later) “Hey I haven’t drawn in a while, why don’t I draw Zelda from that new trailer”. And with that simple thought and five hours of downtime, I drew this. Hope you like it!
