So I found this new drawing program called FireAlpaca. It’s free, and I personally find it to be a better program for drawing than Autodesk Sketchbook and Paint Tool SAI.

While pondering what I should draw, I decided I would just redraw another old character. To my surprise there weren’t really any redraws I hadn’t already done. What I did notice though, is that I had two cyborg characters from stories in different universes. One of them you’ve probably already seen on this site, Gene4. The other I posted on my Instagram page @pepperfaced.

And so I thought, “Why not pit them against each other?” I used the first reference that came to mind- which was the cover for the Civil War II comic book- and just started sketching away. This program genuinely took my by surprise. I don’t think I’ll use anything else for as long as I do digital art.
